Prayagraj: An elephant at a wedding ceremony started rampaging out of the venue after getting scared of bursting crackers.
The incident was reported from Amalpur village near here on Friday.
The elephant had reached the wedding venue along with the groom and his party. However, soon after crackers were burst to welcome the wedding party, it was irked and started running amok.
It destroyed the wedding pandal and toppled four cars parked at the venue.
The groom and wedding guests ran away after seeing the rampaging elephant.
The elephant was calmed later by a team of forest officials.
