Uppunda: Large-sized sea turtle rescued

Uppunda: A sea turtle weighing about 150 kilograms was found on Friday in a ditch near a paddy field in Somanamane near here.

It was rescued and safely released into the sea.

The rescue work was done by locals Srinivas Poojary, Yogesh Kumar, Sharat Poojary, Vijith, Lohith, Krishna Poojary, Sanath Poojary and Ishaan.
