Veteran actor Anant Nag to receive Keremane Shivaram Hegde award

Honnavar: The Natyotsava Advisory Committee and the Award Selection Committee have decided that veteran actor Anant Nag will be awarded the prestigious “Keremane Shivaram Hegde National Award” for 2023.

The committee has also decided to award Yakshagana artist Thimmappa Hegde Shiralgi with the “Keremane Gajanana Hegade Award.”

The Keremane Shivaram Hegde award carries a purse of Rs 25,000 and a certificate, whereas, the Keremane Gajanana Hegde Award carries a purse of Rs 15,000 and a certificate.

The five-day “Keremane Shambhu Hegade Rashtriya Natyotsava” will be held at Gunavante Yakshagana in Honnavar from February 3 to February 7.
