Vijayapura: 2 more arrested in Mahadev Bhairagonda shootout case

Vijayapura: The police here have arrested two more accused in the shootout of Mahadev Bhairagonda.
The arrested have been identified as Mahesh Arjun Salunke (26), a resident of Bambala Agasi and Babu Ninganagouda, a resident of Vajrahanuman here.
SP Anupama Agarwal said that mobile phone, an autorickshaw and a sword used in the crime was seized from the arrested persons.
SP Agarwal also lauded the work of ASP Rama Arasiddhi-led investigation team for the arrests.
In the shootout that occurred on November 2 at the outskirts of the city, Baburam Maruti Kanchanal (64), manager of Bhairagonda, died on the spot from bullet injuries, while Laxman Khogawana, who was driving the car, died later in the hospital.
