Muddebihal: Sending out a message of communal harmony, a Muslim PSI organized ‘Ayudha Puja’ according to Hindu rituals.

PSI Arif Mushapuri of Muddebihal Police Station is the one who offered puja.

He decorated the police station with flowers, thoranam (garland made from mango leaves), and rangoli. Puja was offered to guns, pistols, wireless, police vehicles, and other equipment.

Arif was dressed in a traditional North Karnataka white attire, with a tilak on his forehead.

While male staff wore traditional white attire, women staff had worn traditional Ilkal sarees.

Meanwhile, this approach by Arif has received appreciation from the locals as well as people all over the state.
