A video of a monkey hand-washing clothes exactly like humans is making rounds on the internet.

Apart from their resemblance to humans, monkeys are known for imitating human behavior.

In the video clip, the monkey is seen washing clothes just like a pro and in a typical desi style. It beats the cloth several times and then dips it in the water. This followed by rubbing a brush vigorously on the cloth to remove dirt.

The video was shared on Instagram and has garnered 98K views and many comments with some saying that making the monkey work amounts to animal abuse.
