Voyager Station: World’s first Space Hotel

If Stanley Kubrick’s ‘2001: A Space Odyssey’ was a trailer for ‘out of this world’ life, then what Orbital Assembly, a US-based space firm, would deliver by 2025 could be the entire film.

The futuristic sights of space hotels in 2001: A Space Odyssey perplexed spectators more than five decades ago. While such hotels did not exist in reality by 2001, alternate ones are being constructed, and fiction may soon become reality.

For the first time, plans and simulated looks for a new space hotel planned to debut in 2025 have been revealed to the public.

The pictures depict luxurious rooms as well as breathtaking views of the galaxy.

Orbital Assembly, a space corporation based in the United States, has unveiled the concept of a space hotel. Both visitors and entrepreneurs will be able to travel to space as part of these two new ventures.

Voyager Station and Pioneer Station are the names of the two projects. While Pioneer Station is expected to arrive in three years, Voyager Station might open as early as 2027.

The hotel will be made up of multiple modules joined by left shafts to form a revolving wheel, according to the project’s concept image.

The company wrote on its website the Pioneer station will be ‘the first habitable platform capable of providing artificial gravity, unlocking unprecedented opportunities for research, tourism, and long duration spaceflight’.

Voyager Station will “leverage the technologies of Space and the comforts of Earth to create a unique experience unparalleled in history.” It will be designed to hold up to 400 people at once.

With a maximum capacity of 28, the Pioneer Station will welcome researchers, businesspeople, and tourists.

The Voyager Station will contain a number of ‘luxury suites’ that can be hired for a week or a month.

The purpose of the Orbital Assembly is to establish a space “business park” that will welcome visitors from all walks of life.

As a result, the two developments will have the appearance of a luxury hotel, complete with a gym, lobby bar, and exquisite restaurants.
