Watch: Vandalism at Chennai’s Rohini Theatre during ‘Leo’ trailer premiere

Fans of Thalapathy Vijay allegedly indulged in vandalism at Chennai’s Rohini Theatre following the release of the ‘Leo’ trailer on Thursday.
The theatre had hosted a special screening that drew a large crowd of Thalapathy’s fans. However, at the end of the event, the theatre owners were confronted with damaged seats and a room strewn with confetti.
A video shared by trade expert Manobala V provided a glimpse of the disarray in the theatre hall, showcasing torn seats.

Earlier in the day, fans had posted videos displaying the extensive gathering both inside and outside the theatre, eagerly anticipating the screening. The room was abuzz with fans fervently cheering for Vijay.
Leo, an action-packed thriller, boasts a stellar cast including Trisha Krishnan, Arjun Sarja, Gautham Menon, Mysskin, and Priya Anand. Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt also appears in the film. Rathna Kumar and Deeraj Vaidy collaborated on the script with Lokesh Kanagaraj. Anirudh Ravichander has composed the music, while Manoj Paramahamsa took charge of cinematography and Philomin Raj handled the editing.
Leo is slated for the theatrical release on October 19.
