Bengaluru: State director general of police (DGP) Praveen Sood, has issued a circular, making weekly off mandatory for police personnel
Although, the rule was implemented in the past, it wasn’t followed by the authorities. It is said that a few policemen had written a letter to the DGP saying that they were not given leave by the authorities
However, the higher officials have now been instructed to provide weekly offs to the police personnel.
