Youth assaulted mercilessly over forwarding of news clips

Mangaluru: Kankanady police have registered a case into the brutal assault on a youth by few persons allegedly for forwarding a news clipping about a member of their gang 

The victim Ritesh Kottary in his complaint stated that Rakshith Kottary and few of his friends were angered over the fact that he had forwarded a news clippings about Rakshith and hence assaulted him mercilessly near his grandmother’s Nagori residence on Thursday December 27 night. Ritesh is said to be undergoing treatment in City Hospital here.

Notably Barke police station is probing a case of assault and posing of death threat against the accused, Rakshith who happens to be an office bearer of an organization named Ballalbagh Friends.
