Kasaragod: One more person has been arrested in connection to the murders of Youth Congress workers Kripesh and Bharat Lal by the police crime branch. This is the first arrest since the police crime branch took over the case investigation.
The arrested person is identified as Murali (36). He is the car driver of Gangadhar, who was involved in the killing, informs the police.
It is alleged that Murali helped the accused to escape from the spot after committing the murders. The information provided by the accused who were arrested earlier led to Murali’s arrest.
So far, seven people have been arrested in connection to the double murder case including Pithambaran, leader of CPI (M) local committee.
