Youth dies of electrocution in Byndoor

Byndoor: A youth died of electrocution while setting up a tent at Nayakanakatte in Kergal gram panchayat limits here.

The deceased identified as Chetan Shetty, 16, had taken up a job during the summer college holidays.

The incident took place when Chetan had climbed an iron ladder for erecting a tent for an Upanayana function at a household in Nayakanakatte. He however came in contact with a live electric wire and was tossed to the ground as a result of the shock.

He was immediately rushed to a Kundapura hospital where doctors declared him dead.
Byndoor police have registered a case.
