Youth drowned while touring at Kalasa

Bantwal: A youth lost his life after he slipped and fell into River Bhadra while he was on a tour at Amba Theertha near Kalasa. 

The deceased, Kiran Kotian (26) from Thumbay here, was employed as an engineer in a private company.

Kiran was touring Chikmagalur along with 13 others, they had completed touring around Kudremukh, Samse, Kalasa. 

During the visit of Amba Theertha near Kalasa, he was crossing a boulder when he accidentally slipped and fell directly into the Bhadra River.

Search for the body is underway.
