Mysuru: BJP MP Pratap Simha on Thursday took a jibe at Congress MLA Zameer Khan stating that the latter is trying to be Karnataka’s Owaisi.

Questioning the intent behind Zameer’s visit to all the riot-affected places, Simha wondered why the Congress party was not reining him.

MLA Akhanda Srinivas is being pressurized not to name Muslims in the Bengaluru violence, Simha told reporters here in Mysuru.

Further, he said that terrorist sleeper cells are active in the state. Reports suggest that sleeper cells are active in Mysuru and Hunsur. Hinting at SDPI and PFI outfits, Simha said political murders are on the rise in Karnataka as well. Instead of banning these outfits, Congress is supporting them
