Mangaluru: Min Narayana Gowda performs foundation ceremonies of various projects

Mangaluru: State’s Minister for Youth Empowerment and Sports KC Narayana Gowda on Friday performed the foundation ceremonies of many projects to be undertaken by the Coastal Development Authority within Mangaluru City Corporation limits.

Speaking on the occasion Gowda said that Rs 2.5 crore projects will empower the State’s youth in sports and make them talented enough to compete in national and global level sports.

Also speaking at the event MLA Vedvyas Kamath said that a proposal is underway to build an integrated sports complex in the city.

Mattaru Hegde, chairman of the Coastal Development Authority said that the Authority has built various bridges across many villages are more demands are coming. Adding that they are also planning to plant pink peppercorn on the side of the highways and showcase coastal Karnataka art at Kaup lighthouse.
