Mangaluru: 4 suspended from college for ragging, assaulting principal

Mangaluru: Four students of a private college near Surathkal who were arrested by the police for assaulting the principal of the college have been suspended from the college.
The four – Muhammed Bazil, Sambhram Alva, KU Samil and Ashwin S Johnson – are third-year engineering students.
They were summoned by the principal of the college after receiving ragging complaints against them from junior students.
When the principal warned them against ragging, the four assaulted him.
They were arrested after a complaint was registered against them at the Surathkal police station.
