Min Bommai clarifies on night curfew after spike in COVID-19 cases

Bengaluru: Home Minister Basavaraj Bommai said that there has been no discussion on the issue of night curfew in wake of the rise in COVID-19 cases.
Speaking to reporters here, he said that the required regulatory and precautionary measures against the spread of COVID-19 in the State were in place.
He added that the young woman involved in the CD case seeking protection has come to his attention and the SIT will take care of it.
Bommai said that he has ordered suitable protection to be provided to the families who have requested it.
“CM BS Yediyurappa has called a meeting of all the ministers tomorrow morning. Will see what will be discussed there,” Bommai said.
