Bengaluru: Govt gives salary shocker to striking RTC employees

Bengaluru: The State government has decided not to release the salaries for the month of March of the protesting road transport workers.
Employees of the government’s transport corporations had started an indefinite strike from April 7 demanding the implementation of the 6th Pay Commission.
The government’s move to hold the employees’ salary, which is usually paid to them before the 10th of every month, comes in response to their strike.
A notice regarding this has been sent by the government to all the State’s road transport corporations.
