Ullal: Man throws stones at police car, detained

Ullal: An incident where a man threw stones at a police car and was detained by them occurred at Thokkottu junction on Saturday night.
Kodi resident Mohammed Hafeez is the accused.
A ‘Korajjana Kola’ was being performed near the junction when Hafeez threw stones at a parked police car from atop a nearby building.
Police officials in the car as well as those watching the Kola successfully nabbed the culprit.
As the act occurred near a religious event, it was reported that this could have been done to cause a communal disturbance.
A case was registered at Ullal police station against Hafeez.
