Ambedkar Jayanti: BSY, Congress leaders pay tribute

Bengaluru: State Congress president DK Shivakumar and other party leaders on Wednesday, April 14 paid tributes to the architect of the Indian Constitution BR Ambedkar on his 120th birth anniversary.

The event held at the Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) office on Queens Road in Bengaluru.

Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa also paid floral tributes and respects to Dr B R Ambedkar on his 130th birth anniversary. The event took place in front of Vidhana Soudha.

On the occasion Yediyurappa also handed over new uniforms to sanitation workers in Bengaluru.
