Govt decides to make an appeal to the EC to postpone District and Taluk Panchayat Elections: Eshwarappa

Bengaluru: Amid the spike in Covid-19 cases, Minister K S Eshwarappa said that the government has decided to make an appeal has been made to the Election Commission to postpone District and Taluk Panchayat elections
He further said that the move will first be discussed in the cabinet and then an appeal will be made to the Election commission
Also, the government is also mulling to appoint administrators to panchayats whose term has come to end or is coming to an end
