Bengaluru Urban district with most active COVID-19 cases in India at nearly 1.5 lakh

Bengaluru: With 1,49,624 active cases, Bengaluru Urban has become the district with the highest active COVID-19 caseload in the country.

As of April 23, Bengaluru has surpassed Pune which has around 1.17 lakh cases.

The active cases count is higher than all but four states. The district alone accounts for close to 70% of the active cases in Karnataka.
