Karnataka govt to dispatch school textbooks at end of August

Bengaluru: The education department will start supplying school textbooks by the end of August.

The Karnataka Textbook Society has already received information from all schools about their textbook requirement for the 2021-22 academic year.

The Society has also started the tender process for printing the textbooks.

After the textbooks are printed they will be delivered to the schools through the local education authorities.

School’s will then distribute the textbooks to the parents of students.

Last year, due to the first wave of the COVID-19 pandemic, the government had delivered the textbooks to students’ homes.
