Madikeri: Covid-19 patient’s gold jewellery goes missing

Somwarpet: A gold chain of an elderly Covid patient admitted at the Designated Covid Hospital in Madikeri has gone missing.
The patient identified as Kamala is a resident of Rasoolpura of Somwarpet and was admitted to the hospital on May 1.
However, she passed away on May 19. On May 21, when Kamala’s family members came to the hospital to collect her belongings, they noticed that the 25-gram gold nuptial chain was missing.
Kamala’s son Monnappa has submitted a complaint to the KoIMS dean and Madikeri town police.
