Udupi: District Youth Congress president Deepak Kotian has alleged that the BS Yeddiyurappa government has made all plans to keep the people of the district in darkness from the frequent electricity supply cuts during the lockdown.

“Even though there were no repair works and factories were operating at half of their capacities, power cuts were still common in the district. The government is cutting power for more than 10 hours a day. We demand adequate power supply soon,” Kotian said.

“When DK Shivakumar was the energy minister he had made plans for the supply of power 24 hours without cuts. Now, more hours in the day are spent without electricity,” he added.

“Since Yeddiyurappa’s government, the people of the State are experiencing “Kattale Bhagya,’ Kotian said.
