Bengaluru: KPCC president DK Shivakumar on Tuesday lashed out at Health Minister K Sudhakar and said that he must first do the job of procuring Covid-19 medicines.

He was reacting to Sudhakar’s statement on Covid-19 deaths in the state. Sudhakar had said that the government is not hiding the numbers and let  Siddaramaih and DK Shivakumar visit other states and confirm.

Speaking to the reporters, Shivakumar said,” Dear Sudhakar, first do the job of procuring medicines for covid patients. Do not indulge in death audit. There is revenue department and corporation to do the death audit. You and CM need not take up the responsibility.”

“Central government has launched a scheme to help families of Covid-19 victims, but all will not be benefited by the scheme due to their wrong audit. Rajasthan CM has ordered a death audit to be conducted in the state, let them do it here too,” he added
