Bengaluru: The Karnataka Private Schools Parents’ Association Co-ordination Committee has demanded the refund of the fees paid for the now-cancelled second-year pre-university college examinations.
Many students in PU colleges across the State have already paid the Rs 190 and Rs 50 examination fee for general and SC/ST students respectively.
The Committee stated that if approximately calculated the government has collected more than Rs 11 crore in fees from the 6 lakhs students in the State and has not announced whether the fees will be returned or not even after cancelling the examination.
They further said that they have already contacted the director of the PU Board about the issue.
