25-year-old technician electrocuted to death while trying to fix a fuse

Kaup: A 25-year-old technician died after he was electrocuted on late Wednesday, June 16 night near Kanakodu.

The deceased is Manoj Karkera, he was working as a technician.

The incident took place when Manoj came in contact with a live wire while he was repairing the main switchboard at his uncle’s house.

Though he was immediately rushed to a hospital nearby, he succumbed to burn injuries.

Local police have registered a case in this regard.
