More trouble for Rohini Sindhuri as revenue dept orders another probe against her

Mysuru: Revenue Department secretary M Sumitra has ordered a probe against IAS officer Rohini Sindhuri over  the renovation of her official residence during her tenure.

It is said that the official residence of DC in Mysuru is a heritage building, Rohini Sindhuri had renovated the residence without receiving permission from the Heritage Conservation Committee and 16.50 lakhs have been spent on the renovation. 

K R Nagar MLA Sa Ra Mahesh had lodged a complaint that she had ordered renovation without proper consultation. After duly studying the complaint, the secretary has ordered a probe to be completed within seven days and submitted to the government.
