Brahmavar: Man goes missing; suicide note found

Brahmavar: A 60-year-old man of Baikady village had gone missing on July 8, Thursday, and on the same day, nearby Kameshwar temple received a suicide note written by the man.

Sridhar Mayya (60), a resident of Kameshwara temple campus, Baikady village was living with his wife and daughter. He was suffering from severe leg pain and hiccups issues.

It is said that on July 8, he left home saying he is going to Chikkamagaluru to deal with his court case and will return in four days.

However, on the same day, a registered letter written by Sridhar addressed to the Kameshwar temple was received. The letter stated that he is depressed due to severe leg pain and hiccups and  does not wish to live.

A case has been registered.
