Bengaluru: In a shocking incident, a woman gave birth to her baby in a hospital washroom and threw the newborn out of the window with the help of her boyfriend.

The incident took place at a hospital at TB Cross on Hesaraghatta Main Road in Bengaluru.  The baby’s body was found in a pool of blood at the Hospital on August 2. Initially, the hospital authorities believed someone might have dumped the baby at the hospital.

However, after police enquiry, it was revealed that a couple had visited the hospital on August 1, the woman complained about stomach ache and bleeding.

Police found that the woman delivered the baby in the toilet and then threw the baby out of the toilet window in an attempt to get rid of the child.

The police traced the couple and they revealed that the parents of the couple were not aware of the girl’s pregnancy and they decided to hide it from them.

The couple will be booked for murder if the autopsy report indicates that the baby died of post-natal injuries.
