Bengaluru: Revenue minister R. Ashoka on Tuesday said that there have been no government-level discussions on renaming Indira canteens yet.
Speaking to the reporters, Ashoka said, “Congress leaders have no moral rights to talk about Vajpayee. Be it any government, one must avoid naming schemes after leaders, instead refer them as Pradhan Mantri or Mukhya Mantri Yojana.”
He further said, “Shravan Shanivar is an important festival for Hindus. Also, the festival season begins next month. Hence, Stringent measures have been taken to prevent the third wave of Covid-19 in the state. As a prevention measure, we have planned to open children’s hospital in every constituency.”
“Covid-19 cases are on a rise in Kerala, necessary steps have been taken to prevent the spread of the virus. The Chief Minister will be visiting Mangaluru tomorrow. Also, all the Ministers must follow Covid-19 protocol. Rules are same for all,” he added
