2 students arrive in ambulance to exam centre after accident

Kundapur: Two college students who were injured in a head-on collision between two bikes while they were on their way to appear in their graduate exam, arrived at the college in an ambulance on Thursday.

College students Masaeed, a resident of Shirur and Wajid, a resident of Gangoli, were the injured.

Masaeed, who had come by bike from Shirur was on his way to the examination centre after picking up his friend Wajid from Gangoli when the accident occurred.

Masaeed’s bike collided with another bike coming from the opposite direction near Kodapadi on the Gangoli-Trasi route.

Soon an ambulance was called which took them to the Kundapura taluk hospital.

Though both sustained injuries in the accident, they went to the Bhandarkar’s College examination centre by ambulance after receiving first aid at the taluk hospital.

It was reported that the students will get further treatment after appearing in the examination.
