Mangaluru: Woman foils bag-snatching bid near St Agnes church

Mangaluru: A middle-aged woman foiled a bag-snatching attempt near St Agnes Church, Bendoorwell.
It is said that the woman was returning after attending a function nearby, accused who came in a Ritz car, tried to snatch the woman’s bag.
As the woman held on to the bag, the accused and the woman fell on the road. While a few locals rushed to help the woman, others attempted to block the attackers.
However, the accused quickly sat in the car and managed to escape. It is said that the car did not have a number plate.
