Withdraw Covid lockdown violation related cases: MLA Vedavyas Kamath urges CM

Bengaluru: Mangaluru City South MLA Vedavyas Kamath on Friday urged the chief minister Basavaraj Bommai to withdraw cases filed against peopele for flouting covid guidelines during the lockdown.
He along with a delegation met the CM and submitted a memorandum in this regard.
Kamath pointed out that the people have suffered a lot of hardships due to the pandemic. It has taken a heavy financial and psychological toll on the people. In these difficult circumstances, if the government drags people to court to face trial, it would further add to their woes.
For the welfare of the general public, the MLA asked the CM to issue orders to revoke the cases and complaints filed for violating Covid-19 regulations.
