Mangaluru: Bajrang Dal activists on October 3 tipped off the police about a few students belonging to different faiths roaming around suspiciously at the Chilimbi Gudde area near Gurpur here.

The police swung into action and questioned the youth about their intentions for visiting the spot. It was also found that the car in which the group had arrived had no number plates.

Police Commissioner N Shashi Kumar was reported as saying that two boys among them have tested positive for drug consumption and have been booked under the NDPS act. On the complaint of parents of one of the minor girls, a POCSO case has been initiated, he added.
