Mangaluru: The accused in the stabbing case that was reported from Ullal on Tuesday, October 19, has been arrested by police.
A 42-year-old man named Harish had been stabbed in the chest with a sharp object by the assailant.
Sources said that the accused, who is an adolescent and a resident of Uliya, had a minor scuffle with the victim Harish about his disruptive behaviour. This became the reason for the attack.
Some days earlier, Harish had a complaint with the police accusing the youth of creating ruckus in the area in an intoxicated state. The accused had then written an apology, but still continued his unruly behaviour, sources said.
