Mangaluru: 11 boats used in illegal sand mining seized

Mangaluru: In a crackdown on illegal sand extraction, police officials on Thursday, October 28 seized 11 boats used in illegal sand mining in Faizal Nagar.
It is said that the police conducted an operation on getting information about the illegal sand mining being undertaken in Faizal Nagar and raided the premises.
They have now handed over the seized boats to mines and geology department officials.
