Mangaluru: Man held for attacking three women with knife attempts suicide

Mangaluru: A man who attacked and injured three women at the District Institute of Education and Training (DIET) center located at Karangalpady attempted suicide in Wenlock hospital on Monday, November 8.

It is said that he tried to hang himself with a bedsheet from the window’s steel grill.

The man had injured three women, who work at DIET, identified as Reena, Gunavathi and Nirmala.

The accused identified as Naveen (31), working as a peon at Kundapur court entered the campus on the pretext of giving a gift to a staffer.

He was later arrested by the police officials.
