Mangaluru: A leader of the Social Democratic Party of India (SDPI) posed death threats to Karnataka Congress leaders on Sunday.
In a viral video, SDPI’s Dakshin Kannada district president Abubakkar Kulai was heard threatening to murder Congress leaders who bothered the SDPI workers.
He said that Congress party leaders can’t stand the growth of SDPI leaders during the last ten years in Mangaluru.
“The Congress is unable to digest the growth of the SDPI and is creating troubles. We were silent till now but we have two ‘M’ now – manpower and muscle power. We know how to dispatch the Congress workers to hospitals or graveyards,” he added.
He further said, ” Our party workers will not get subdued by atrocities and oppression. Also, those who join the SDPI should be prepared to get hospitalised, go to jail or the graveyard.”
