Udupi: Senior ‘Rangabhoomi’ music director K Raghavendra Bhat passes away

Udupi: Senior music director of theatre troupe ‘Rangabhoomi’ K Raghavendra Bhat died at 7.30 am on Friday after a brief period of illness.

He had composed and directed music for several plays of the Rangabhoomi (R.) Udupi team, winning several awards for music at various competitions. He was the conductor of the famous ‘Rangabhoomi orchestra’ in Udupi. Raghvendra Bhat had served as a judge of several theatre drama competitions.

A retired employee of LIC, Raghavendra Bhat had guided many in the field of music.
