Bantwal: Car skids off road falls into 10-feet ditch

Bantwal: A five-year-old boy sustained injuries after the car in which they were traveling skidded off the road and fell into a ditch after hitting an electric pole on Bantwal bypass road Wednesday afternoon.

The boy Suvidh has been admitted to a private hospital in Mangaluru.

Reportedly the car was headed towards BC Road from Allipade when its driver Girish hit an electric pole by the roadside. The car then skidded off the road and fell into a 10-feet ditch.

Police informed that they were four passengers in the car, including two children.

Traffic police visited the spot for investigation. The cause of the accident is not immediately known.
