Haleangadi: 25-year-old killed after bike hits divider

Haleangadi: A young man was killed after the motorbike he was riding on hit the road divider on the National Highway 66 at the Haleangadi junction here on Friday.

The deceased, identified as Ganesh Devadiga (25) from Mulki Chitrapu, was on his way to work when the mishap took place. He was employed as a security guard at NITK in Surathkal.

Severely injured Ganesh was rushed to the hospital by a rickshaw driver. However, he later breathed his last at the hospital without responding to treatment.
