Kalaburagi: Afzalpur Block Congress President Mahantesh Patil Sonna has been arrested on Friday in connection with the PSI recruitment fraud case. With this, the total number of arrests has risen to 13.
The arrested accused is said to be the close aide of Senior Congress leader Mallikarjun Kharge.
It is said that Patil’s supporters created chaos during his arrest and his brother RD Patil also threatened the CID officials.
Meanwhile, the president of Gyan Jyoti School Divya Hagaragi is still absconding and a manhunt has been launched for tracing her whereabouts.
