Kasaragod: Six booked for theft at company building National Highway; Woman arrested

Kasaragod: A woman was arrested on allegations of theft of iron articles of a company involved in National Highway construction.
Police have registered a case against six persons, on receiving a complaint from Megha Engineering & Infrastructure Limited. The company reported the theft of iron rods, spare parts, etc worth Rs 13,000 stored at a facility near Poinachi.
Police have arrested Chitra (36), a native of Tamil Nadu who currently resides at Chettukundu in Kanhangad.
The efforts are on to trace the others involved, police added.
