There were reports of protests by Muslims after Friday prayers from different parts of the country, including Delhi. The protests turned violent in some parts of Uttar Pradesh.

‎Protests were held in Kalaburagi, Mysuru, and other parts of the state, on Friday, but the law and order situation remained normal.‎
