B’luru: Suicidal man stabs wife to death, calls police to confess

Yeshwanthpur police arrested a man for allegedly stabbing his wife to death at Mathikere here on Wednesday morning.

The deceased has been identified as Anusaya (42).

According to the police, the arrested accused Tanesh was in financial debt and the couple frequently quarreled over the issue.

Fed up with the marital dispute, Tanesh stabbed his wife to death. He also planned to kill his 13-year-old daughter and then commit suicide himself.

He however changed his mind and called the police control room and informed them about the murder.

A case has been registered in this regard.
