Kundapur: Fearing failure in exams, girl commits suicide

Kundapur: Afraid of failure in pre-university supplementary examinations, a 17-year-old girl committed suicide in Kullanje of Shankaranarayana village.

The deceased has been identified as Manasa Kulal, daughter of Oddanagadde resident Babanna Kulal.

Manasa had failed in the PU examinations held in April and had recently written supplementary exams. However, she committed suicide by hanging herself in the cattle shed even before the results were out.

A case has been registered.
