New Delhi/Bengaluru: Union Minister Shobha Karandlaje has written a letter to Union Home Minister Amit Shah requesting to handover the BJYM leader Praveen Nettaru’s murder case to the National Investigation Agency (NIA).
In her letter, she requested to take stringent action against the Popular Front of India (PFI) and its political wing Social Democratic Party of India (SDPI). She has alleged that jihadi elements were the reason behind the killings.
Shobha has also urged Shah to deliver justice to the family of Praveen.
It can be recalled that earlier in the day, Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai and State Home Minister Araga Jnanendra both had said that there were certain norms to be followed before handing over the case to the NIA.
“It would only be possible to decide after the preliminary round of investigation whether to handover the case to NIA or not”, they had said.
