Praveen murder case: Ban on sale, transport of liquor till Friday midnight

Puttur: In the wake of BJYM leader Praveen Nettaru’s murder, the district administration has banned the sale and transport of liquor in 4 taluks of the district.
Deputy Commissioner (DC) Dr K V Rajendra on Thursday ordered the ban on the sale and transport of liquor in Puttur, Kadaba, Sullia and Bantwal Taluks till Friday, July 29 midnight.
Praveen Nettar, a zilla BJP Yuva Morcha committee member, was hacked to death in front of his broiler shop in Bellare by three bike-borne people on Tuesday night.
The police officials have arrested two accused in Kerala.
